Kia Orana and Welcome

Tropical Sands has 5 spacious, self-catering beach bungalows with large verandas in a secluded tropical setting on the oceanfront. All have views from their deck area of the Te Moana Nui a Kiva - the Great Pacific Ocean to the east with the beauty of the rising sun, and to the west, inland mountain views, lush and green.

Picnic tables on the ocean edge enable you to relax in the quiet enjoyment of the waves breaking on the reef.

Your friendly hosts, Rudy and Kanoe, both talented artists, live on-site and are discreetly attentive to any queries or needs you may have. They provide a relaxed and tranquil environment and you will discover their artistic talent throughout the property - which can only add to the wonderful memories of your Rarotonga Holiday.

Tropical Sands is ideally situated, being only a 4 min drive to the crystalline waters of Muri Beach, and a 15 min drive to Avarua township and the airport. The bus stops at the gate.

The property is a wifi internet hotspot. No children under 12 years unless by special request.

Airport transfers - we are happy to arrange these for you - cost $25 per person per way.

Our Appartments

Have fully equipped kitchens (hotplates, fridge/freezer, tea coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc) Television, and DVD player. Apartments are self-catering - bathroom towels are changed every 3-4 days, and linen once per week. All room rates include VAT.
